yea, it was jacked up, so i desided to get the paintjob and output boast on it besides all of the repairs it needed. just wanted something simple so it didn't come out cheesy.

Output boost on the 3k???
I always thought it was the loudest of all MPs and this was more a thing for the 60 users!?!?

the output is kinda worth it. the problem is that when its used with other equipment its way louder so theres no need, but when im tracking the 8 outs into protools they come in loud where as before they came in really low. thats the main reason i wanted it cause it sucked when it came in soft because there wasnt as much punch. when i track in with the stereo outs it has some wicked punch now! its really only worth it to me because the 8 outs are loud, i could care less about the stereo cause its already louder than needed without it.

does the output mod make a modded 60 the same output level as a modded 3k, or the same as an unmodded 3k? enquiring minds need to know. also anyone reverse-engineered it yet? any DIY option?
