not sure what im not doing rith but here is the issue:

when recording a synth line through midi into the mpc60 i have to assign a midi note value to a pad and then use it to trigger the synth note while recording to the sequence...this i am doing one note at a time with the pads triggering the synth when i want the note to start or sustain...what id like to do is be able to record a synth line from my keyboard in real time while playing the synth keys adn not have to do it one note at a time...im more a player than a programmer and like that feature of the mpc having hte pads...the synth that im using is a juno 106....

in short i want to just hit record on the mpc assign a midi channel and play the notes on my keyboard and have them record onto the mpc sequencer..

if anyone needs me to elaborate let me know...this is the main thing holding me back from making the type of songs i want to as i want to play the synth and not have it justbe programmed through the mpc ....

any help would be great....thanks

midi in to midi out1A, midi out to midi in.

set track to 1Am typre to midi,

go to the midi page, set soft thru to to on, play your keys.

this is based on os 3.10, but it is possible in the older OS's, just a little different.
