the output gives it an extra +6db to the stereo and 8 outs, its cool but not really needed, no one has the fat pads anymore. (can't be bought I mean)

the linn 9000 has the fat pads as standard, they are just in deeper holes.

talked into what? they dont have those pads, I asked him about it. he said the only way he could get them is if enough people were interested he could make a mold, but that would cost him $5000, to make it sohe would prolly charge about $100 for the pads and hope that more than 50 people bought them or it would be a waist for him.

They were made for the Linn Midi Studio which never went into production. once they were gone they were gone. at 200 or so a pop it took a while, and making more isn;t gonna be cheap.

damn i want a linn midi studio so bad:-) upgraded to f9000 specs ....:-)

Yeah me too, but good luck.

I think there was only 3 prototypes made and they were basically just a 9000. A lot of the MPC 60 design came from it tho.

I seen a 3000 on the 'bay with the thick pads. Anyone know how their sensitivity is compared to the regular pads. Seems like they would be less responsive. Aight chill!

nah, they are the best. just like the Linn 9000. Best pads I've ever felt.
