internal zip resetting MPC when switching or saving to disk

Ive had this inturnal zip in for a while and has worked fine. now all of a sudden whenever I take a disk out or if the disk stops because its been on for a while and they turns back on because i'm trying to save it resets. does anyone have any advice for this, thanks

well now its working fine sometimes, then other times its going out. i think it might have something to do with the power it drains from the mpc but im not sure.

Sounds like your drive is bugging out like zip's do.

might be time to score another one.

i dont think thats it cause i got that a couple months ago. I think its the internal power supply. Bruce at forat said there have been problems with the non-le's power supplys have been messing up for years when the heat goes up on the MPC and now the le's are being that they were made later. he also said that the ejecting of discs hit the power supply thehardest. I opened it up, fixed up the wires and its working ok. prolly have to look into getting a new power supply regardless.
