Do I need Translator!

Happy New Year! I'm using a mac G4/os9 and the mpcpgmmaker. I formated on the mpc with four partitions, but when I save to my zip from the mac I can only save to one partition. I have used "search" to find the answer to this question, I think "homershines" touched on it, but do I need to purchase Translator to save to and load from all four partitions?

I'm using the 3000 le by the way.

have you tried doing a "select disk"?

Thanks, yes I have. The four partitions are visible from the mpc. It's when I save sounds from the G4 to zip that I only can view or save to one partition.

Yup, just use one disk as a transfer disk from the computer to the MPC, then once loaded into the MPC, save it to the MPC disk.

Hey, thanks El for the reply. Looks like that's the way I'm gonna have to go. I downloaded the Translator demo just in case. Do you know anyone who uses it, and if so, is it worth the price?

Be careful not to use the same disk for transfering to the Mac and for saving your most important MPC files. Somehow the Mac will mess with the MPC partitions and ruin your disk's partitions. Do a search here. Use my name.
