mpc screen disappear:(

just last night, after about 10 min. of use, the screen on my MPC 3000 disappeared, and all the lights of my unit turned on, rendering it useless.
after turning it off and on, it repeated this after 5-10 minutes of use.

Sound familiar, anybody? Any help?

I would ask mpc 3000 but I would bet a wonky power supply (could you still trigger sounds or did it just die?) if it died, betcha its the power supply. I had a pc that did, that, would randomly turn off after 20 minutes or so of use.

did you ever find out your issue..i just got a mpc60 and the lights on the led's also stay on

Power supply failure or loose internal ribbon cables.
