Is there a way I can burn a readable cd full of .snd samples for my MPC 3000? Any utilities ect?

Not to my knowledge.

i don't see why not, scsi just thinks cd-roms are hard drives. you'd need to first build what you want on the cd on a scsi drive, then write an image of this drive to a cd. whether this is worth it for you i don't know. it seems a little silly for mpc's.

Do a raw sector read of an MPC3000 formatted hard disk into an image file. ( many ways to do this on various computer platforms ).

Write the RAW sector image, sector by sector to a CD. ( many CD burning apps that allow this ).

Find a SCSI CD-ROM drive that the MPC3000 likes.

Insert the CD.

Voila ...

A bit touch and go though because the MPC3000 doesn't like many types of SCSI CD-ROM drives.

Good luck.

Rohan.

I remember programs like CDextract supporting burning sampleCD formats like emu and akai formats. Perhaps that helps.
