Please post what would be an "ideal" price for a used MPC3000.

That is of coarse an average and if the machine is exellent/mint you could pay around 30% more.

I almost bought one, dude from EBAY in UK is a Rip-off, BWARE! He wanted me to wire him money and didn't answer all of my questions. Dude also was a NEW member and registered with about 4 different names and different email addresses.

Where are you from bbout. I see mpc3000 for sale from time to time over here in the Netherlands. The price they ask for it can be anything from 1800 euro (standard 3000) to 2400 euro for an le.

I paid $1800 on ebay.. w/ 32 mb and v3.11 software.

The "best" price depends on whether you are the buyer or seller. Don't pay more than about $1,800. The 3000's are on their way down. Musicians are migrating to software and the MPC1000 is going to give them even more choices. A year from now you might see the 3000 going for closer to $1,000. The days of hyping the 3000 are over.

I am happy with my 2KXL. But for those interested there is a 3K on sale on Ebay for 1659.00 don't quote me, but is under 1700...US

I know you can get those same MPC3000 tight filtered drums from a s3000XL.
