S950 Query

OK I sample a sound OK but how do I play it back so I can resample it into my MPC3000? I'm not using any MIDI BTW...

i wonder how many herbs there are that just buy good sounding samplers then resample them in some other machine cuz they cant use it?

I aint saving on floppies and all that bollocks. I want it all in one sampler for ease of use.

however this one I won't let go.... Don't you think I tried that. Allbeit my PB button is faulty (2 of the buttons don't push in on S950 but I beleive them to be still functional)

seriously tho. learn the midi. when you kno the 950 youll be glad i was a dick. i have a 950 and a 3k its a good combo. resampling from one to the other will fuc k up the sound. if you take the time to sample into the 950 you did the hard work just do whatever else in there. at least use midi to check your playback for now.

The thing that puts me off is having to save all my S950 sounds onto floppies and its more sounds/files I've got to keep track of. Also I collaborate with a mate who has a 2000XL and can only read my files if they're in the 3K/60 format. I'll be using an MPC in some live gigs in the future hopefully (a 2000XL actually sod taking the 3KLE out!) so I can't be arsed to take an S950 as well as my MPC.
I can't see where you're coming from with the "resampling from one to the other will fuc k up the sound" cos your sampling at 16 bit 44Khz theres hardly going to be any major sound degradation if at all?

i replaced the 2 prong wang socket on mine from a pc psu 3 pin thing and i unplugged that lil board and cant remember which way is which for brow brown and red brown cable
