i wonder do you think this is possible? how it is achieved on the 3000 with the option?

I'm sure it is possible. Because anything is possible. Especially when you have the service manual with all the schematics.

I'm also thinking sticking a digital out on a 60 wouldn't be too big a task either.

Digital output would be a simple abstraction of the exisiting I/O sub system.

The problem with digital ouput though is that it will not carry the character of the MPC60's D/A and Analog stage.

The VGA option for the MPC3000 could easily be hacked to run with the MPC60. ( then it would need one of the PLD's on the VGA board decoded and reprogrammed to make it more reliable ).

Where's my 32 meg upgrade at then? I have the service manual, if I upload it can you get me a RAM upgrade???

ah, backlit's gone bad? I really want the VGA out so i DONT have to wear glasses ha:-) i hate wearnig em.
