some ideas removing yellow-glue on my 60

Hey,

I got a mpc-60. And the prev. owner prob spoiled some ype
of glue on it (right on top of the "professional" logo on top.

This glue is real hard now and it;s dirty looking-yellow. You can see the
logo-part thats underneath though, but its just not cool to look at.

I tried rubbing it off with a moist towell that has some cleaner soaked in , wont work.

Any good ideas that might help?

furthermore i'm afraid such a cleaner will remove paint/logo.
could it remove the paint?

hate that stupid idiot who spilled some kind of glue in the mpc....

try some Goo Be Gone, if you can get that across the pond. But don't soak it on there, it will f*ck up the plastic and smear (its some strong, toxic smelling liquid).

By the way, love the name. I watched the movie the other day and Joey was real pro when it came to murking dudes.

There is a stuff that I use here down under that is made by "Pascoe's" in Welshpool Western Australia ...

It is called "OOMPH" ... designed to remove glue, sticky residue and more.

Just used some for an aged gaffa tape removal job on an MPC3000.

Used also to disolve the soft glue compound that holds the LED "light spreader" stand off bits that project and focus light to the outside world.

Didn't damage any painted surfaces at all ...
