dirty contacts? in the FAQ there should be something on opening it up n cleanign the pads.

yea that's what i don't like about the mpc60 and mpc3000s...tehy end up doing that:(

first of all id try reseating the ribbon cables inside the mp...

then see whats up.

Does this happen in each of the selected pad banks ???

If it happens just in one pad bank then the problem is related to the "simul trigger" settings where one pad can be set to trigger another. Re-init parameters to fix this one and try creating a clean program from scratch.

If it happens in all banks then you have:

a) a failing pad sensor.
b) a faulty pad sensor board.
c) bad connection between the pad sensor and it's pad sensor board.

a) or c) above are highly possible.

hey thanks 3000le, yeah the first think i did was reset the paramaters, but it is infact on all pad banks.. i suppose ill have to f!ck with it when im replacing my F1 key, what a pain in the azz

Make sure the cables that link the sensors to the mpc are not in contact with anything. One of my pad was buggin and that was the problem. Used a little tape to keep the cable from being in contact with screws or anything

it just started working normally again, i didnt even get a chance to open her up, i was just gonna work around that pad.. but turns out its back to normal!

cant complain bout that i guess, good ol' technology :P
