Im hoping to soon become new to the MPC game, and I am so confused which one to get... Off of what materials can you sample with a MPC 60??? Cause I dont have a turntable, right now all my sampling is done in Adobe Audition, and I would like to know how would I sample off CD or something on a 60? How much sample time does the 60 have? (Seconds) And how would I get what Ive banged out on the MPC to my DAW without losing quality? ( Trying to decide over Pro Tools, or Reason ) I just want to make music unconstricted, and make it good quality, but the decisions I have to make are confusing.

You can sample from any source for a maximum of 26.2 seconds.

26.2 seconds on a maxed 60... 13.1 without the upgrade. Something 2 note when deciding. -uno-

Reason is a daw?

Stick with adobe audition for now.

Get 2.0, it's more user friendly and a little deeper than 1.5.

Download all the manuals and addendums and go through them.

It's too much money to spend and NOT know what you are getting.

Read the comparison forums, that's what it's their for, to take some of the guess outta picture for you. read man read.
