MPC3000;
I'm planning to do the internal drive installation from your website http://www.mpc3000.com in my MPC3000. I copped the SCSI Zip drive and a 1GB SCSI laptop drive. I just got my MPC3000 back from being serviced to replace buttons, knobs and so on. Got my backlight done too. It's as good as new and ready to go with the Zip and HD installation. I also ordered the additional parts.

I just wanted to know if there is anything additional I should know or if anything is missing from the webpage that I should be aware of. For instance, I'd like to still be able to use my external SCSI connector in case of some heavy disk or file swapping. Will I be able to? I'd also like to know how you arranged the SCSI id numbers and what you used to terminate the Zip drive.

And for any of you kids out there in TV land, if you need an ATAPI internal Zip drive, to pop into your MPC2000 or MPC2000XL, I got one for ya. I think it'll cost you about $17 to $20 (including shipping) in the USA. In my haste to get this done, I was foolishly the highest bidder on Ebay. Oops.

Peace and many, many thanks.

This is off the subject, but I ran across a site with an internal zip drive in an ASR 10 and this guy installed a switch on the back to turn off the internal zip when he used the external scsi device. Or something like that. My bad, I couldn't help. Check the I.D. numbers too.
