The 4000 is newer, has more features and appears to be a little tougher to learn than the 3000. It also has more support. I have a 3000. I was in the store the other day and compaired their sizes. The 4000 is either the exact same size or even smaller than the 3000. That's how much the technology has changed. Many more features within the same space. It's your choice, but I'd go with the 4000, if I had the money.
Otherwise, I'd seriously consider the 2000XL. The size, features and cost are hard to resist now. And have you been observing the 1000. Don't sleep on this one. Wait for some reports, but this could be your answer. And you could two of them on one of them and a Motif or Triton LE for the same price as a 4000.

You gotta be kidding me. 4k of course. You should do some searching on the net to see and read about all the specifics.. of course the 3k is more cost effective and still not a bad deal at all.
