Hello all, there's something I'd really like to do on the 3000 but can't figure out how to (but I'm still getting around the unit) ...

for example, on my first sequence I have a hi hat track, a bass drum/snare track & a piano track. on my second sequence, same track setup but different patterns ... is there any way I could use the hi hat pattern of seq 1 with the piano pattern of seq 2 live without having to create new sequences before ? Are there any tricks ?

something else, is it possible to switch the different degrees of quantization live ? to use with the note repeat function. I don't think so cause there's nothing about it in the manual but anyway ...

Thanks.

Use the 'copy track' function. It's not possible to change quantizing when the sequence is playing.

thanks for your answer, but what i want to do is mix the patterns on the fly, without having to use the copy track function ... I guess it must not be possible, but it would make the mpc a great live instrument.
