I noticed this forum has a ton of posts regarding the s950, so I thought I'd ask a question.
This morning I was chopping up sounds on my s950 and I noticed the 'play' button wasn't as responsive as usual. I would press it, and the 'midi receive' button would light up, but sometimes the sound just wouldn't play. Other times I could hear it playing really quietly... and other times it would start playing and then 'crackle out'. I tried triggering the sound via my MPC60 and ran into the same problem.
Considering the 'midi receive' lights up every time I press 'play', I'm thinking my mix output could be starting to fade.
Anyone else have this problem? Is this a correct analysis?
How do I go about fixing it? Is it possible I just need a new cable or something?
Thanks, peace
