Ok, here's my entry. I used a random Crusaders song (Keep that same old feeling) and tried to make it work by chopping up a few parts; I was a little limited as I'm in process of finishing/repainting my basement, so everything's unhooked at the moment. Brought up the MPC60, my laptop, headphones and m-audio fast track usb to create this. Also sampled a vsti bassline hit into the track.

Came up with this and did a little home headphone mastering to the mix - compression, eq, etc.

Mpc1kallday : seems you've been sleeping kid...mad tracks were made just out of the SP1200 which ( you're going to cry ) has only 384 Kbytes RAM !

Oh and btw I did a beat only on the SP-12 Turbo (5 sec sampling time) called "Piano Rawness" : www.myspace.com/essencebeats

or another one with the MPC-60 750K RAM called "First MPC-60 Beat" : soundclick.com/djessence

boomspot, your track is hot ! best yet for me

Thanks man! I had another 10 seconds of samples to flip but they didn't fit the track.
