whats going to be the hardest part about converting files from an
mpc2000xl format and then loading them to a mpc 60II, OTHER THAN SAMPLE TIME.

if you don't have os 3.10 on the 60, it is virtually impossible.

if you have windows 98 or 95, just go to midicase.com and buy the pgm converter. It will save you time and is efficient.

oh yeah..good job with the 60. or 60 II..

does the mpc 60 II have a 16 LEVELS FEATURE (note variation) like the 2000xl

By elmacaco Sat Nov 29, 2003 7:37 am
yes, now stop it with the stupid questions that you could answer yourself if you looked at the f*cking machine's front panel!

Well for one Roger LINN.COM doesnt speak of the 3.10 sofware having note variation on the "16 levels" feature, only attack and velocity. For two, if I had the machine I would obviously have found it out myself. I am seriously considering making the mpc 60II my first machine. WISE ASS.

Yes, it has it. Both unupgraded and upgraded.

Download the 3.10 manual and the stock manual and you'll know everything.

Of course, I would opt for the 60 I, not the II, but that's me.

Not the first time I've been called wise..... ;)
