MPC 3000 Inquiry

Ok, so when I get my tax return in january or feb I will be in the market for an mpc and some quality monitors. I had a 2000xl and sold it shortly after because of stupidity and change in priorities. I have regreted it ever since. So anyways I am considering the mpc 3000 as one of my top choices. I have a few questions i would like to get resolved if yall can help. I read a post about mpc 3000 cutting off the last 20ms of samples, and a need to insert 30ms of silence at the end. True or False? Also, If i do opt for the 3000, would it be a better choice to grab the 3000le because of its new mfg date? I dont want to drop +- $1500 for a 3000 and have something fail. One last question is, to get beats to cd, I would ideally want each output routed to a mixer then to a recorder? There is no export song to wav feature, correct?
