Get a 3000?

Thinking of selling my 60 and getting a 3000. Any reason I shouldn't?

They give you lot's of problems! LOL No they are dope but it has to be right for you and the way your workflow is and how you like to save things.

after trying out a 60, im sticking with the 3k. imo 60s sound isnt all that special.

Hey peezie how do you save and transfer your files on your 3000?

i always sample everything direct, so i never had to worry about transfer. sorry bud

I figured that!

The 3k saves you alot of time , the 60 leaves your fingers tapping ...and waiting.....BUT the 60 sounds better on drums personally.

Attach a zip drive to the mpc & a zip drive on the PC. You can tranfer sounds like that.

I used a IOMEGA USB Zip 100mb Drive hooked up to my computer that is running Windows XP and did the steps that Rohan said and it worked!!!!!

1. Launch the MPCEDITOR.

2. FORMAT a ZIP disk with the MPCEDITOR.

3. Load WAV ( not files converted via WAV2SND ) files into the MPCEDITOR and assign them to pads.

4. Use the MPCEDITOR to EXPORT the files with a PGM in MPC3000 format directly to the ZIP disk that it formatted in a previous step.

This disk should work fine in your MPC3000.
