MPC 3000 -> MIDI

HI, I've been trying to spread a sound from one of my MPC 3000's pads over my Edirol PCR M30 keyboard so that I can play it as a whole scale but it doesnt work , I only get to make it sound on one of the pads. how do I do this, thank you.

even if you don't have an Edirol it doesn't matter, what option do you select for the sound to be spread on the keyboard instead of your MPC.
