Sorry bout bothering yall. I have 2 questions.

1) Is there a function on the 3000 to always hear the audio input? Like the 60 does automatically?

2) Does anyone else's 3000 heat up alot near the vent? Mines never froze or shut down but it does get pretty damn warm.

Thanks Again.

Can't you just put it in monitor mode in the sample screen?

damn that sucks.

average man, I want the hear the input even when I'm in main screen mode, so I can kinda DJ sounds in, so I know what sounds good with beat, etc... That monitor option you pointed out doesn't do that.

the 60 doesn't let you hear audio input automatically. first, you have to go to the sample a sound menu, then hit main menu to hear it. i like this feature for scratching rekkids on top of the beat.

average man, where'd you get the screen shot and are there more like it?

Cut n' paste from PDF version of the MPC3000 manual?

That's my guess.

yup what he said^^^

just zoom in on the PDF manual to what you want to use and then press the "print screen" button over on the right of your keyboard usually above the number pad. Then just paste this into some imaging software.....
