Peace y'all,

Quick question that I hope someone can offer some light on. I appear to be having problems with my REC IN jack -- seems to have faulty contacts where the 1/4" gets inserted, or possibly some loose connections internally due to bad soldering and the like...

Anyone ever replaced one of the 1/4" input jacks on an MPC60? I did some searching thru the boards and didn't find much.

Any help y'all could lend would be much appreciated.

Many thanks and Happy New Year!

Peace.

No takers, huh? OK... Well, has anybody at least removed the card which the REC IN input is connected to? Is it fairly easy? If so, I don't mind removing it to at least check the REC IN input jack's connection to the board.

Any relevant info anyone might have would be great.

Peace.

What does it sound like? You may be tryin to sample stereo which is impossible on the standard 60's. Pan to the left/right and u will hear the record...maybe this isnt ur problem but who knows

I was wondering the same thing. I downloaded the MPC60 manual hoping t would shed some light however I was not sucess full. I am planning on getting it serviced. I am looking thru the forum for someone that knows where to get a service disk. NO luck so far but I ran into your post and was interested in knowing if you ever figured out how to remove the card. I want to solder the connections on my MPC60II. Any help is apreciated.
