HOW can I MUTE on 3000 ?

If you can read the main screen then an answer will be displayed right in front of you.

If you don't have an MPC3000/MPC60 in front of you then download and read the manual.

The track mute and solo buttons are available on the main sequence screen.

There is no trackmute via screen and pads its one of the soft buttons underneeth the display.
