Dont put your zip drive on top of the MPC60

I know it seems like the empty space where the akai and roger linn logos are on the 60 is the perfect place to rest your zip drive. But if you care about noise levels coming out of the MPC don't do it! in tracking down noise coming from the mpc i finally realized that it was coming from my zip drive. the mpc picks up the electromagnetic interference from the zips motor and amplifies it.

this is much worse on the 3000, never noticed it on the 60..but good looks regardless
