I was wondering if you can give me some advice. I just got an omega 100 zip for my mpc 3000. I hooked it up but for some strange reason, its loading at a normal speed. I was wondering if your zip loads at a normal speed. A firend of mine has an mpc 3000 and his loads up at lightining speed. I would appreciate any help you can offer.
* Check you have the latest Akai OS (3.11) as your friend
* Configure your drive exactly the same
* the number of partitions on the zip disk itself may have an effect
* the lengths of each sample affect load speed
* Does your friend have a zip 100 or newer 250?
Basically have your friend round to duplicate his set-up/settings with yours then go from there.
