My boy let me hold his MPC 3000 and told me to use the utmost care in looking after it. Oh God can you believe that two weeks later when I turn it on the screen is a bunch of pixels with no information and all the indicator lights are on (the horror!)? Maybe I'm blowing this out of proportion but if there are any sympathetic souls out there could you please give me some advice on fixing this problem? The model is the original 3000 and I don't recall leaving it on but it is possible. The drive uses SyQuest 135mb removable hard disk cartridges and I'm not sure how to remove those either..could this be the problem? The disk? I know how to use the machine but I have no technical knowledge about it. Please help!!

I bought a 60 that had a screen that lit up, but it had no text. I had the screen fixed by replacing a couple of fuses. I hope this helps.

Yea I guess I could try to bring it somewhere and have the fuses replaced..I wouldn't attempt to do it myself do you know of a place that could do that for me?
