Saw this thread in the 2500 forums and thought it would be good for other users and potential buyers to see how it looks in an actual studio instead of the regular pics. For all the 3000/60 users, if yo have a camera post some pictures of your set ups.

[quote="DarkWing"]**** now i know for sure my backlight isn't working

You do know that the 3k has an off on switch for the backlight?
If you push down on the contrast knob it turns it off, push it again it turns it back on.

thanks it was already on - it's just not that bright :/ don't know if a new backlight would fix that.
It's easy to read if the room is pitch black...

it,s the el folie backlite thats fades out, its normal with akai backlights.

order a new backlite for 30 dollar/25 euro at www.midirakete.de

putting it in is a mather of slide the old on out, and slide the new one in, and solder the 2 cables on.

like 5 or 10 minuts work and it,s ready

here a asq10 (use the same folie as a mpc60) fitted with el folie from www.midirakete.de

here a spare folie for the mpc60 (asq10) so you know what a el folie is like, the yelow paper is only to hold the folie.
