Using the MPCpgmmaker

I hate having to make another thread on this, but I'd really like to make sure about this. And also, this could serve as a good little how-to guide for others wondering the same thing.

Here's what I'm working with - MPC60II OS 3.10, and an Imac G4.

Here's how I think it's supposed to go :

(first of all format floppy disks in the 60)

Sample into MPC
Save all SNDs to floppy
Load floppy in DD compatible disk drive (would http://www.emtcompany.com/products/comp ... WAodfTDvuw work ?)
Open samples in the pgmmaker, convert SND to .wav
Chop/backup to HD as needed
Open new .wavs in pgmmaker, and convert to SND
Save SNDs to the floppy again
Open and freak as needed in the MPC

Ohhhh come on yall. This many views and no replies yet ? I know somebody has to have some knowledge of this.

I don't think its gonna work. First MPCpgmmaker doesn't even say if it works with the 60. Second, 60 floppies are not readable by Macs (to my knowledge). Third, the author doesn't even know how to transfer samples to the 3000 and 2000 (non XL) so don't bet on the 60.

You're prolly better off getting a old Dell laptop and using MPC editor.
