Hello,

I'm using Logic and Recycle and am wondering what the easiest way is to load an exported MIDI file with it's associated chopped drum files into the MPC and have them map properly. Most apps default to C1 when creating a drum map and then arrange the hits chromatically up the graphic editor. The imported sequences don't seem to trigger the pads in the same way. I'm assuming the MPC3000 follows the older GM rules? I read the post below about using Recycle with a PC...I'm on a Mac, sadly in this case.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris, you can re-map the PAD to MIDI/PAD to NOTE assignments in the MPC3000 such that they will be linear note assigned rather than GM as they are by default.

This will help with the RECYCLE exported MIDI file assignments PAD assignments being a bit more "logical".

Hope this helps.

Rohan.
