Hi, i just had a strange problem with my 60, i was just scratching to the beat i just made on the mp and it started making some random noise's. It sounded like when you copy a sound, and start copying the sound before the sound stop's playing (when you hit the pad to choose what to copy)

The beat kept playing but the noise was very loud, then it started playing random samples i had i the memory. Its only done it on this project, the disks are fine , they load up and everything. The other projects seems fine , but it could be everyone. It takes a while to do it, and i can save, and do every other fucntion while this noise is going on.

I have the new os 3.01 i think and upgraded ram.

If any one could help me thatd be great.

Peace.

I have it too, I think this is a common problem that is not often talked about fwiw it doesn't really throw the beats off too much unless you're the one that made it I suppose because it's bothersome and you listen for it

wish I knew a fix, I might get some fresh ram and see if that helps, if not I'll call forat and see what's up

This happened to me only once.

What I did was threw out the floppy disks I loaded from. Resampled the sounds and saved to a new disk. Never happened again.

I have a feeling it was the disk or the files. Somehow they may have got corrupted or something? I really have no idea all I know is I hate floppies. That's what made me switch to compact flash.

yeah i think it was actually either the disk's currupted something, or i flicked some option on with my elbow when i was getting my funky drummer on. It only does it on that project, so i just finished the beat fast and thru those disks out. Glad to know my 60 wasnt giving up the ghost.
