I live in Berkshire in the UK and need my MPC servicing. The backlight is seriously fading and a few buttons don't work anymore. Can anybody suggest where I can get my MPC 3000 serviced?

You know how to solder? If so, both those jobs are easy to do, and the parts are readily available.

Yes ... discussed many time in this and other MPC forums.

The TACT switches on the circuit boards can be replaced.

Here is an example that can be found with the SEARCH tool in this very forum.

The LCD BACKLIGHT can be replaced.

Forum member DVDBORN put together this excellent related guide a long time back.

It can also be found referenced in this forum by using the SEARCH tool.

Members of the MPC3000 group at yahoogroups can obtain this information as a *.PDF in the files area.

I'll re-iterate the post by KARLSCOTT too.

If you're in the UK and don't want to do this work yourself then employ the services of http://www.synthservice.com/

Rohan.
