60 seq file compatability

I was wondering if the seqence file from a 2k was compatable with a 60. I got a guy I'm working with and all his beats came off a 2k but all he has is a cd with the finished beat so I can't individually process them. I was wondering if I could put the samples from the 2k in my pc, the seq file in my 60 and slave the pc to the 60 via midi. If not is there a way to get the sequence to my pc without have the guy bring his 2k over? I already know I can get the samples over.

The 2K/2KXL SEQ's are NOT compatible with the 3K/60.
