Mpc 3000 effects eq?

So is it true that the 3000 doesn't have effects other than delay/reverb? No internal eq? I have a 1000 and want a 3000 for the punch/warmth, but I would still need to eq my drums....Also can the Filter in the 3000 act as a high-pass filter? Thanks

The MPC3000 doesn't have EQ processing features in this regard.

The filters in the MPC3000 are LOW PASS FILTERS only.

And that lo-pass filter is dope!

You can always eq. outside the MP. The loss of eq. is not important (I think) as you get the sound, ease and quality of the 3000.

I never understood people that wanted 100 effects and eqs inside their mpc/grooveboxes.
These machines are digital, and offer little space inside the unit. Now think, what kind of quality effects/EQ will suit a machine like yours....rrrrright
