Hey MPC 3000 die hards. First time posting on this board, I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I've had my 3000 LE for about 5 years and haven't had any major problems until now. My 3000 all of a sudden is telling me that my SCSI device cannot be found. I've tried everything, new SCSI cable, new Iomega Zip 250, new zip disk. When I choose DISK-9 then 3 or 4 to format or make a SCSI device active on SCSI id 5 with termination on i keep getting no SCSI device found. Also the green light on my zip drive flashes from a lighter green to a darker green intermitently. I hope I've made this clear, any help would be great.

Thank You in advance

maybe your scsi fuse is blown.

My SCSI Zip kept working even with the fuse blown. Just because the fuse is blown does not meas it stops working.

Probably something else. Try another drive on the MPC or try that drive on a computer to help dtermine where the issue is.
