Please, help me out, i'm desperate. I bought an MPC60 I with 3.10 OS and maxed memory via Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=009) from UK (i live in Finland) and the i received the machine like a week ago. I had to buy an US to EU voltage converter since it has different voltage (US: 110v/50hz, EU: 230v/60hz).

Now, i have plugged correctly the plugs to rec in and stereo out (left and right) and i'm trying to sample something from my computer / turntable. Whenever i 'sample a new sound', it samples the sound correctly as i can see the record level flashing. But when i try to play the sampled sound a weird humming/cracking noise is just coming out from the stereo outs to my computer and the MPC freezes. No buttons are working and the machine just freezes. I have to reboot it to get it working again. I tried to load a sample from a diskette and it loads the sample but whenever i play it, same thing happens: the humming/cracking sound occurs but the machine does not freeze if i load the sample from the diskette. Is the machine broken? Any ways to fix it? Or try to re-install the OS? I paid the machine at the beginning of this month so i guess i can at least get a refund for the machine via Paypal or something? Is it possible that the machine broke when it got shipped? He promised me to insure it for extra 3£ so i guess i have to ask my money back and ship it back if i can't get it working... please help me.
