How 2 sync MPC 60 I with Cubase SX 1?

How must I synchronize the Akai MPC 60 I with Cubase SX 1?

You'll have to use Cubase as the master; I've done this with Nuendo, which is similar. This is from the top of my head since I'm not at home, but go to the Transport/Sync setup in Cubase and select Midi Time Code to output to your midi device. On the MPC tempo/sync screen you want to set sync in to Midi time code and what midi input; also make sure 'SyncIn" is set to on. Hit play in Cubase and look for the MPC to start. Once you get it working, I would advise using a blank bar or two at the start of your MPC song to let the sync catch up.
