...my MPC 2000 Xl (with cardreader,8 outs and FX) against a clean MPC60 1 with 3.1 and new LCD backlight. Since i have always wanted a 60 i am very tempted to do it. Should i go for it ?

thats what i was thinking, its much easier to get a 2000xl than a clean 60 1...

but i think i wont go back to the 2k :)

it's not about going back or forward...
different instrument
different approach

my advise - take offer than and save money to get back yours xl, or grab 2500 with jj os- you wont regret it:)

if it has SCSI and expanded ram DO IT!!!

if it doesnt, think deeply, then DO IT!!!

just remember that these 2 upgrades if not already installed on the 60, will cost you $400-$450 to upgrade yourself...

yeah do it dood

if you dont like the workflow of your 2000(xl) do it

but if you love what you've been doing on your 2000 then don't, but on the real, you can do as someone said and buy the 60 and resale later if it aint fitting your production style
