I vote for MKI with the OS upgrade. OS upgrade costs $195 from Roger Linn Design. MKI for sure.

my 60II is beautiful in its own way but I'd rather have the leather arm rest and tilting screen. I was thinking about grabbing MC Denzel Washington's mint 60 but its got no SCSI.

true.
If he'd lower the price a bit....I'd grab it for the sake of gearlust.
Might as well before dem cats with Euros buy all our gear.
I don't remember when I got my 60II but it was $910 total. Mint with SCSI, max ram, radioactive backlight, and a flight case.
Know what I mean?
Shame 60s don't hold worth like 3Ks and SPs but I guess thats a blessing.
How much did Count BassD get for his 60 auction?

lets not forget the unplugable power cord on the MKII.
Thats important for clumsy fools like me.
You ever stepped on ya headphone cord and ripped it out of the ear piece?
You ever manhandled or dropped some gear and had the power cord rupture? Pain in the ass repair it is.
My family loved the headphone jack.
Shoot...
I remember my lady asking me why the SP didn't have a jack.
Cause we all know ladies don't like listening to beats as much as we do...especially one shots and loops...

Is the SCSI option a must-have for the MPC60? What is the advantage?
