S-950 Question: How do I switch from Poly to Monophonic?

Can any one tell me how to acheive this:

How do I trigger a sound on the MPC-60 (OS 3.10) making the sound start over every time I hit the pad?

I don't mean simply Turning "ONESHOT" on or off. Off just means that the sample will play until I take my finger off the pad. On means that the sample will play all the way through, and if I hit the pad again midway through the sample, it will simply overlap, but not start over.

You need to go to Edit Sounds and in the bottom right corner it should say poly and change it to mono.

Do you mean SOUNDS on the MPC60, or EDIT SAMPLE on the S-950?

Are you sure that will apply the setting to the sample I am triggering in the S950?

Because I know I can do that to a sound that is sampled on the MPC60.

If your using the S950 midi to MPC60 then set the MPC to Mono and set the S950 to One SHot Off and that should do it.

Scroll to Pg. 17.

Assign your sound/keygroup to a MONO output (01-08).

Done.

7 1 4 Beats hasn't logged in for 13 years, so it isn't likely that you're going to get an answer from them.

If you want mono, then set the sample you want to cut off to an individual out.

Each out is 1 voice, if you try to play more than one sample on 1 voice it'll cut the other sample off.
