Nope and never did. I finally installed a internal zip in the 3000 and im fine with that. If it ever breaks, just order another one. To much hassle finding card readers and the prices just dont seem worth it to me

i agree.

Why not be a kind soul and share the source and site of the more reasonably priced card readers.

Geez you lot are a friendly bunch! Whatever happened to "don't knock the hussle"? :)

Firework - don't talk down to me kid. Your days of posting the DUMBEST and most obvious questions on this forum are NOT forgotten. I really don't need your advice.

Supreme - in some cases zips can fail and take all your beats with them. Trust me it's a real drag. I realise you save money - if it's not worth it to you then fair enough - but don't kid yourself that a zip is on the level of a cardreader because it really isn't.

I feel like my auction is reasonably priced all things considered.
If you don't want to bid, don't. I won't take it personally I promise. ;)

word. I'm not tryin to critisize your hustle, just a suggestion to spread love in a positive manner but we all need money so I understand.

Funny that skweezyo is jackin your thread :o

but lets move this thread back to the positive.

Most folks with these card readers drop the data on their computer and save it in a folder somewhere and then continue using the same card again? Is that what you do? I don't have a good computer which is why I'm still on floppy/zip.

So you get 792kb or such with a floppy and 100mb with 4 or more paritions on zip with my 60. How much data storage with a card reader and is there a specific card and storage size (1GB, 512MB) for the 60/3k?

Do you cut the flash card into paritions like the 60/3k do zips or its straight forward like floppy?

use it just liek a hard drive wiht partitions then back it up when you are done.

and im not jackin the thread.... cats asked for a cheaper source right? nobody is jumpin on tha overpriced sh it. better off gettin the os upgrade for that much

$100 aint bad for a reader. 250 is really pushin it
i hope these readers dont become like records or baseball cards. cats tryin to make a quick buck on somethin people are lookin for so they collect a gang of them and just hoard.

i aint feelin dudes like firework that are sittin on readers and/or connects to help some fellow mpc users get ahold of a reader just so you can make a quick buck.
when i come across that online source you got for these things, best believe ill be postin it on here. i dont need one but i know the hassle i went through trying to find one and that shit was not fun.

what a dickface

Yeah I got no beef with anyone really, when I said that about knocking my hustle I was mainly referring to firework with his "secret hookup" bs.
I will tell you all right now where I got these - in Japan. So feel free to go there and trawl through a million electronics stores like I did.

Thought the thread jack was a bit suspect as well, but hey it's a free world what can you do.

Lumin I know you pmed me a while back, with what I paid I can't afford to sell this one less than $100. If I ever find a cheaper one I got you.

I'm not a "baseball card" type dude (not saying anyone called me one, just thought I'd clear that up). I'm a beatmaker/dj that has love for sample-based music and hardware samplers. I make a lot more money off djing than I do from my beats currently though to be honest! My crates run pretty deep, never **** with sample cds. I found a few of these drives, and right now I'm in need of some cashflow hence the auction.

Peace.

Yo Arks I wasnt talking down to you bro just opening your eyes to why no one is biting your bait of your "Hustle" ----- easy though you will sell it.

Dude I made a comment to bump my thread. It was a rhetorical question.

I didn't actually need an explanation of current market forces. Thanks all the same though.
