How to install Display-Light (EL-Folie) in a MPC 60?

Hello!

I have bought a new Display-Light (EL-Folie) for my MPC 60 at midirakete.

I have open up the display-chassis and have disconnect the little Frame witch is around the LCD.

But how can I remove the Light-Folie under the LCD???
It seems as it is non-switched?? What I have to do?

Not sure you mean by non-switched, but I just had to slip the foil out, de-solder it and re-solder the new one. Make sure you reseat that frame tightly, you shouldn't have needed to remove it. I made the same mistake and freaked out when the screen came up blank. The LCD needs pressure to work properly.

where there are 2 solder points you have to de-solder it. While de-soldering, i used a razor blade to lift the contacts from the circuit board, preventing it to touch the circuit board while still hot and re-attaching themselves again.

once those points where desoldered on my 60, it came out easily and the new one slid in easily, too.
