Hey everyone,

I'm a software producer at the moment but I've always wanted an MPC, mostly for nostalgic sake but also because I want something where I can turn it on and start making beats, I find the computer uninspiring at times.

I've never really wanted a newer MPC mostly because I'm into old school stuff (nintendo nes ). Recently I have the opportunity to buy an MPC 60, its not that cheap but I can afford it at the moment. I've always thought I would go for an MPC 3000 because it has more sample time but this is a pretty good opportunity.

What are your opinions? Is it worth my time or is it just "too vintage"?

Cheers,

maks

I would try to make sure it has a legit memory expansion board and OS 3.10. If it does, I second 714. It's a great sampler, but if it doesn't have SCSI, see if you can get it for around $700. You don't need SCSI, but if you decide to sell it, you'll be able to get more if it's SCSI equiped.
