MPC3000 converters vs PC (RME mulitiface)

i have read some threads saying that the peeps liked the DACs on the MPC3K. i have a question about the ADCs on the sucker... i think its tedious to edit samples on the mpc as opposed to cool edit pro on the PC. but do you think i should sample directly to the RME multiface or should i sample into the MPC and transfer to PC via zip disk and then do my edits?
when i sample off my fav hip hop cds for snare and kicks, i am goin entirely digital. however next month i am gettin my decks and just wondering how yall do it....
