mpc 60 noise when is on

i´ve got an mpc 60 and when is on is noisy. this noise is not very loud but quite irritating for me and makes imposible to record in the same room with a microphone because would be audible. could it be fixed? how? what is the cause? i think maybe the power supply (the sound is like and old tv or a pc or a fan, very high frequency). thanks in advance!
