Renaming...

Hey peeps,

Just wondering why is it when i go to name something i only get a certain ammount of cymbals not even letters? I turn the data wheel and i should really see all the letters but i dont?

Whats going on?

Is it just like that while using the data wheel? How about when data entry keys? Don't know what maybe the cause of the problem tho, just tryin to help.

Werd, you need to use the button that corresponds to the letter you want to enter.

The data entry wheel just covers the characters that don't correspond to a button. There are only so many buttons after all.

I much prefer this method of naming shit. Once you get used to the layout of the letters you can name stuff loads faster than selecting each character with a data entry wheel.

Yeah, but the buttons only go from letters A to O. What about P to Z??

P > up arrow
Q > low arrow
T > tap tempo
& > stop
Play-start > Caps lock

Yeah, the letters have faded on mine.
