MPC 500 -> MPC 3000 Compatibility

Hi,

I am about to go on tour and want to buy a MPC 500 to take with me, but want to be able to transfer my sounds and sequences to my MPC 3000 when I get back to my studio. Does anyone know if this is possible? Does the Version3.50 MPC 3000 software allow you to do this.

The MPC3000 with or without the Vailixi 3.50 software has no load support for MPC500/MPC1000/MPC2500/MPC4000/MPC2000/MPC2000XL format PGM/SND
combinations..

These other MPC models as above, do have support, if in some cases limited; for the MPC3000 file types.

Assuming you have a computer, moving files too and from the MPC3000<>MPC500 may better be achieved with computer based tools.

Such tools that allow the format conversion between different types of MPC where necessary.

The "HYBRID-PARTITION" system in Vailixi 3.50 will simplify the transfer of format
converted files there after as each disk partition will be computer readable/accessible.
