Just a quick question peeps...

Basically i keep Program 01 free but load ready made programs on Program 2 etc. So in Program 1 i start assigning sounds to the pads from the ready made programs. So say i load up a program i made but dont find all the sounds i need so i load up another program right... But after i load up about 2 programs it says the memory is full. So basically how do i go about deleting the sounds i don't use to free up memory. The way im currently getting round this problem at the moment is saving the Program 01 but not replacing the same sounds of course and then turn the machine off and back on and load up the Program 01 again and other programs to try and find the sounds im looking for...?

Btw im using a MPC 3000...

Thanks!

Yeah thats one way...

What i mean is basically say i load a program and only use a couple of sounds for it. How can i get rid of the program so that the sounds aren't still on the memory so i can load up other programs. Surely i dont have to delete each sound??

Thanks.

You can save the new program, without replacing the sounds. Then, delete all sounds in the MPC (PRG/7/delete all sounds), then re-load the previously saved program. You're left with your new composite program, and nothing else.

Does that help?
