MPC 60 diskdrive errorcode ff02 + ff04 (possible solution)

Heya, just got my MPC 60 mk1 last week and it has been working fine till like yesterday. What happens is the following: i format a floppy, let the 60 write some sounds and sequences on it, turn off MPC, turn it on again 2 hours later and i get a bad floppy or formating error.... I believe the errorcode is something like ff02? Anyone got a clue if its my 60's floppydrive acting up or that it is just a simple case of faulty floppys.... Any help is much apreciated.... im lovin this big ol' sampler

I just found a possible solution to this problem in another post on this forum some guy says the floppydrive needs to be cleaned probally, any ideas on this?

I get the ff04 error sometimes, but I just blow into the floppy drive and it works

Floppyfrive didnt work for the past 2 days till yesterday afternoon it came back to live after formating a floppy.... hope it keeps working now till i get the cleaning kit in

Be warned though...You can only clean your drive so many times before it really dies.

At least it saves me from coughing up $150 atm for a new one at Forat
